What is the Auxiliary all about?
“Never let them walk alone”
The Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary is an auxiliary organization to the Fraternal Order of the Police, the largest nationwide organization of law enforcement officers. The Auxiliary is the ONLY National support organization of its kind.
What does the Auxiliary do?
The Auxiliary is a contributing extension of the FOP, helping to meet the police family’s needs. Some of the activities include conducting of memorial services locally, at the State level, and nationally during Police Week in May, financial support of the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Washington DC, and support and assistance with such programs as Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and the Safety and Education Programs.
Most importantly, the Auxiliary is there for our Police Officers families in need. In today’s law enforcement society, those of us who are a part of this lifestyle face many difficulties everyday, it’s good to know that we have an outlet for service to our friends and their families.
Who can be an Auxiliary member?
All family members of an Active or Retired law enforcement officer in good standing with the local FOP lodge. This includes in-laws, parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, children, and step-children.
